Transmutation

Transmutation is a visually powerful work that expresses the alchemy of spiritual growth and inner transformation . At the bottom of the canvas crawls a snake , eating its own tail — the ancient Ouroboros symbol of eternal cycles , rebirth and infinity . It reminds us of the constant flow of beginnings and endings , the circle that always begins anew.

Above the snake is a clock , fastened in a spider's web , pointing to midnight — the moment of transformation , the turning point between past and future , darkness and light . It is the time of change , when the soul breaks free from the old and enters the path to enlightenment.

Along the stairs sit mythical creatures , like guardians of the transition, guarding the journey to higher consciousness. The figure at the top of the stairs—a butterfly woman with radiant wings —embodies the accomplished transmutation , the ultimate liberation of the soul , leaving the old self behind and embracing the new, enlightened self .

The thorns , skeletons and bats are reminders of the trials that must be overcome to reach this state of consciousness —a process of challenge and liberation .

Above the moon is the artist's MA sign , a signature that emphasizes the personal and universal dimension of this journey. The work shows that true growth is only possible by letting go of the old and courageously walking the path into the unknown .
